Every £40 fills another gap in our fundraising net.
When the whole net is full, we've secured the funding needed to resurface all four courts.
You'll be able to watch the same campaign progress on the physical net at our clubhouse too.
HELP US GET OVER THE LINE
With resurfacing planned for Spring 2027, now is the time to help us close the remaining funding gap. There are two ways to contribute financially.
You don't need to be a member to support the campaign. Every donation helps improve the courts for everyone who plays, learns and enjoys tennis at Abercorn.
Both routes contribute towards the campaign's funding secured. Payments are made by bank transfer — the club confirms every contribution before campaign totals are updated.

BACK THE COURTS
Existing member? Prepay 1, 2 or 3 additional years of membership at today's price. Your prepaid years are added to the end of your current membership term.
Membership fees are reviewed annually, so today's price is locked in for every year you prepay — and you can add a voluntary donation too.
Can't contribute financially right now? There are other ways to help →
Gift Aid is claimed by Abercorn on qualifying voluntary donations only, at 25% — never on membership prepayments. Campaign target £140,000.

Take a lesson or tell friends and family about Abercorn's adult and junior coaching. Income from coaching and holiday camps contributes directly to the resurfacing project — while introducing more people to a great sport and our club.

WHY WE'RE RESURFACING THE COURTS
Our tennis courts have served Abercorn brilliantly for decades. Like any heavily used sports surface, they're now reaching the end of their expected lifespan, and we're increasingly seeing issues that affect both the quality of play and the amount of time the courts are available.
The good news is that the project is well advanced. We have an experienced contractor appointed and are working towards resurfacing all four courts in Spring 2027. Now we're asking everyone who enjoys Abercorn to help us close the remaining funding gap ahead of the planned installation.

HOW WE'RE FILLING THE NET
Abercorn has already made a substantial commitment from club reserves, built up through years of careful financial management. Income from coaching and holiday camps also contributes directly towards the resurfacing project.
That's the funding we've secured so far. Over the coming months we'll add donations, membership prepayments, business support, grants and other fundraising as we work together to fill the remaining gaps in the net.
We've already secured most of the project cost. The focus now is on closing the remaining gap ahead of the planned Spring 2027 resurfacing, with our members, coaching families, supporters, businesses and the wider Abercorn community.
